Heroes Youth camp is coming really fast, and I'm excited as a horse in a race! The work will be hard, specially the integration of musicians. By the way, since nobody is auditioning, I suppose I'll choose the musicians!
Yes, musicians. My goal is to create an ensemble of musician-worshipers who are passionate for young people and for God... much like our SOLD OUT ministries. Anyway, my hopes are since we will be playing new songs from Israel and New Breed, Hillsong United, and hopefully new songs by yours truly. It would be awesome if the team would collectively write a song for the camp theme, but as for now, we might be looking at a song by superchick.
Same as last year, we will be using our stuff at church, but hopefully it doesn't break down again like last year and Oct 22. Lights, lazers, and fog courtesy of Faith and Bethel, Sound system, amps and instruments by Sumulong (Christ Way Community), and everything, courtesy of God Himself!
Pastor Jeff Aspacio would be heading this year's camp and an excellent team of young leaders would be assisting him in different committees.
