To give you an overview, a String Quartet is mainly composed of two violins, a viola, and a cello. But our violist can bring his keyboard, while I can bring my acoustic guitar and even sing!
I am a member of various professional Classical String Quartets, and we play for different occasions mainly weddings, birthdays, company Functions, recordings, and the like.
Our group individually comes from UP college of Music, and Saint Scholastica Conservatory. We are all members of Prestigious orchestras like Philippine Philharmonic, Manila Philharmonic, Manila Symphony, Global Orchestra, the former San Miguel Philharmonic and Metro Manila Chamber Orchestra.
Our pieces are very unique because we choose the arrangement of pieces we play! If its too simple, we re-arrange it for our group's taste. And a conservative estimate would be 85% of our repertoire is SPECIALLY arranged for our Quartet's use.
